Acne was founded in 1996 in Stockholm, Sweden. Their vision was to create a lifestyle brand offering desirable fashion products. Acne clothing initially started out but noticing the problems in the denim industry and from this they created 100 pairs of unisex jeans. Following their success in Swedish Elle, Acne decided to branch out into other design fields.
